Schiehallion’s iconic peak can be seen from a lot of hills in the Cairngorms, the Southern and Central Highlands. The straightforward and short access route makes this an ideal Munro for beginners.
Mount Keen is the most easterly Munro. The approach through Glen Mark is very scenic, and a good path almost all the way to the top makes for very easy going.
Càrn a’ Chlamain is a remote Munro that is approached through the lovely Glen Tilt. The walk is long but on very good tracks and paths.
Cairngorm is the 6th highest peak in the UK. Just sitting above a very popular skiing area, it’s easily and quickly accessible, making it one of the easiest Munros to bag.
